Too Busy Thinking About My Baby

Feeling slightly deflated today... not hearing much from Lowestoft, and have to wait until the weekend until I get to see Oscar again :-( I can see how they are all a bit busy at the moment in Lowestoft, but I am suffering from severe withdrawal symptoms. Nobody answers the phone, and anytime they do, I get a very brief update before they have to go and tend the baby or entertain a new visitor for the baby... ah well, I guess it is the Aunty's lot!

Anyway, from what I gather little Oscar is doing really well; not crying very much, and feeding really well. Henry has been taking it all fairly well, although he has been a little bit naughty (attention seeking) and is suffering from 'showoff overload'. So many guests, and so many dances to show off - no wonder the poor boy is feeling a little emotional!

Last night's run/dinner went really well. For Janine's benefit, I can tell you that Emma cooked a delicious pasta and salami/tomato/mozarella sauce, and I have had a bowel movement this morning. For some reason she is expecting this level of granularity in my blog ;-)

Mark managed to sort the drainage out yesterday, so we had flushing toilets and running taps last night. Poor devil was at it for a good twelve hours yesterday, and he and Noel were looking pretty frazzled by the end of the day. Hopefully he has broken the back of it, and can have a slightly more relaxing day today. Mia is coping really well with the huge bomb crater style holes that keep appearing in the garden, and seems to be almost oblivious to the mini-diggers and power tool action going on.

Tonight am cooking a large chilli, and hopefully Robert and Emma are coming over, before we head to the beer festival. Am looking forward to it!

Much love,
Hayls
